Café with
a side of
Gatos

The perfect spot for coffee, food and company.

The Café

Cat Room

The café might be easy to miss at first as there was no clear sign until we spotted the logo on the side. The café opens at 12:30 pm every day, serving up lunch and dinner options alongside light bites and drinks. Inside, you'll find a cosy setting with warm lighting, but don't expect to see any cats just yet. This area is strictly for dining. However, if you explore further, you'll find the entrance hall leading to an outdoor garden and the cat-friendly zone.

Naturally, there will be a door to prevent any potential cat escapes, so it's important to handle it carefully, as these furry friends might quickly slip out! Upon entering, you'll discover the most adorable cat room. It's designed with cosy spaces for both cats and humans to relax together. Various chairs and sofas are strategically placed around the room for everyone's comfort. What I loved most about this spot was how much natural lighting seeped through the window giving a glimpse of the garden / outdoor dining area.

You know what's even more amazing? There's no time pressure here, and no entry fee either! In places like London, you often have to pay a hefty price just to spend 55 minutes with a cat, which seems a bit absurd and honestly takes away from the whole fun of a cat cafe experience. But here, the only rule is simple: don't feed the cats, and be friendly. It's all about enjoying the company of these furry friends without any unnecessary restrictions.

What a comfy and nice place! We were lucky to be the first ones in the cat cafe. As soon as we sat down, all the cats came to us and it felt like heaven. One jumped on our laps, another checked out my bag, and one even seemed like it wanted to take our order! These cats were the friendliest I've ever seen in a cat cafe, which made the place even more welcoming.

The seating could get a bit tight depending on where you sit, and the tables are small. So, if you're planning to order food, it's best to do it one by one. Or, you could ask for a bigger table if you're sitting outside with the cats, of course.

But apart from that, everything was just right. The cats were so friendly, and all they wanted was some love. It was a perfect atmosphere, and being surrounded by those adorable cats made it even better.

Conclusion

This cat cafe was truly a gem, with every aspect surpassing my expectations. From the adorable cat-shaped print on my cappuccino to the delectable food offerings and, of course, the delightful feline companions, it was an experience to remember. The staff were exceptionally friendly, the menu boasted delicious options at reasonable prices, and the portions were just right.

I found myself completely immersed in the inviting ambience, ultimately extending my visit to a leisurely three hours. The vibe and atmosphere were simply irresistible, prompting me to return with my family, who also fell in love with the place. What's remarkable is that this cafe has something for everyone, whether you're a devoted cat enthusiast or not. I can confidently say that a visit here has the power to change anyone's perception, leaving them charmed by the unique blend of furry friends and cosy cafe vibes.
