ABOUT
THE
COFFEE
FESTIVAL

The Coffee Festival was based in East London within the heart of Brick Lane inside The Truman Brewery. After delaying the festival for a year due to Covid, it was nice to see coffee lovers come together to enjoy the one thing they love the most: coffee.

The London Coffee Festival is the UK's largest conference of coffee retailers and suppliers with over 100 stalls. The event was held last weekend between 23rd - 26th September with 23rd & 24th for the industry/bloggers and the rest of the weekend for the public to enjoy. Despite the name of the festival, there was other retailers and suppliers such as Rhythm 108, Cakesmith and Love Corn along with others.

MY

ALTERNATIVES

Favourite

What is perfect with a cup of coffee? Suitable alternative milk! I stopped having milk a couple of months ago and found it quite hard to find the perfect soya milk which froths beautifully and taste great until I met these two brands which have never failed me.

Their product is primarily designed for use with coffee and to add no sugar at all would not taste right. They have added the absolute minimum amount of sugar we could that still allowed the product to taste great. The ingredients are quite simple: Filtered water, whole non-GMO* soybeans (min 15%), brown sugar, sea salt, mineral (calcium carbonate) and filled with lots of nutrients. This is particularly a brand-new product founded in 2021 and I hope to see more of it!

Enjoying plant flowers within our coffees that are filled with protein is honestly one of the best alternatives to milk. Their kinds of milk range from soya, oat, almond, coconut and many more! My all-time favourite is their no sugar soya because the taste is still there and goes perfectly well with lattes, cappuccino or even matcha latte! the list can go on and we can be one step closer to a healthier lifestyle and planet.
