DAY IN THE SUN (Maria's Cafe)

MARIA'S CAFE

Harpenden

Sun-kissed and blessed.

My adventure of cafe hunt have started again!

I happen to go to a cafe which I kept passing by nearly everyday on my way to university and have been wanting to visit for a long time.

MET YOU IN THE SUMMER

Today was the perfect opportunity to visit the cafe as the sun was shining and the heat, a bit overwhelming but nothing that can not be handled!

TAKE ME INSIDE

As you got inside the cafe, it was cool and quiet for a Monday morning. The interior goes so well together with the floral walls, chalk boards and I kept getting vintage vibes from it all. But, do you know what caught my attention first? The CAKES! Different flavours and freshly baked for us to devour. This is one of the best things about independent cafes. Not to mention there was also crepes and savoury crepes ready to be eaten. Wonderful.

A GIRL'S GOTTA...

Treat Yourself

Our order:

Cappuccino x 2: £2.50

Coffee Cake: £3.00

Just the energy we needed for the day ahead of us.

Seriously, all you need is a cup of coffee even on a hot and boiling day. The cappuccino was made perfectly and the coffee cake complimented it.

What a treat for us.

PROS:

- Quiet and cute cafe

- Good prices

- Enough room for seating

CONS:

- Far away from me

I want that cake cake cake...

Exploring these different cafes would not be the same without exploring it with someone. You both discover new flavours, your favourites and it's moments like these which makes you want to do it all again.
