My wait is over. After months of patiently waiting to visit this cafe and see what the hype is all about I finally had the chance to! I decided to take my mum out for the day in London and also visit Palm Vaults for a coffee break.
Palm Vault is a independent cafe based in Hackney London.
I NEARLY MISSED IT AT FIRST
My sister had her google maps on in one hand, I was trying to walk fast and find it quickly because it was so cold that day in London and I walked too fast that I nearly missed it until my sister said "Hold on, I think this is it". It was dark and we all actually nearly walked right past it. Palm Vaults please brighten up your sign for us!
FIRST IMPRESSION: GOOD
When I walked into the cafe my first thought was it does look like this in real life too? Amazing. On the left, we had the barista and in front you will see the seatings. The theme of this cafe is very vintage and you can tell this by the interior and music.
What stood out the most was the plants on the celling. It goes with everything and well with the theme. Also, everyone on the tables had complimentary glass bottle of water (just incase you want to drink something other than coffee) and the seats was very comfortable almost made you feel at home.
ROSE LATTE AND A BIG CHUNK OF VANILLA CAKE
Our order did not take long and the ladies generously gave us such a huge slice of cake! I ordered a Rose Latte which cost around £4 (usual price for these unique little cafes) and our cake was £4.20 and as it is a one time experience, I do not really mind splashing out a few quid more on coffee. Although, I would prefer a cheaper alternative. However, I cannot complain as the cake was delicious and spongy and they did give us a good amount for the price. Also, the latte was good but really nothing new however my mum really enjoyed her evening.
Overall view, this was a good one time experience to visit one of the most well known Instagram worthy cafes to drink, capture and enjoy the moments spent.

CONS:
- The glasses for drinking water was not cleaned
- Hard to find the cafe at night because the outside of cafe is not clear
- High prices
